Professor Adrian Heald

Professor Adrian Heald is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at Salford Royal Hospital. He is a Professor at Manchester University and Visiting Fellow at St. Peters College, Oxford, being active in research in diabetes, obesity, women’s health and hypothyroidism. He has published more than 260 research papers in these areas. A particular focus at present is work on the epigenetic factors underlying renal and cardiovascular complications in type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
